Flickr will allow thumbnails to link to the full-size, readable, image, as in the ugly butts post
I usually use ImageShack which will post the size of the full image one must download if the thumbnail is clicked. This is a boon to those in remote areas on dial-up so you don’t have to wait forever [...]
