RE: This is a test of the newer Windows Live Writer 1(12)
Here are screenshots of the difference between the human-eye view of using Live Write and the WordPressMU editor.
If the post needs revising after posting (I haven’t found the post as draft feature yet), Live Write makes it difficult. I like the ease of adding tags, but not all themes use the horizontal rule and others highlight URLs differently. It would be nice to have something that that also includes the equivalent to MS Word’s “view non-printing characters”.
2) post then viewed in WordPressMU editor (non-RTF)

3) human-friendly view of another post in edit mode
![]()
Site Search Tags: live+writer, blog+clients, screen+shots

If you would like to post a draft and then edit online, we actually make this quite easy. On the toolbar is a “Save Draft” button–hit the little arrow hanging off the button, and select “Post draft and edit online”. (The same option is available in the File main menu.) This will not only post a draft, but also open up the WordPress editing page for that post in your default browser.
By the way, your “Site Search Tags” format looks broken–you’ve got an extra ” after your href=. That could be causing all the links to be dropped.
Also, have you discovered WLW’s “Web Layout” view? It should better reflect the styles of your blog.

Thanks so much again for your help. I’m used to the publish button giving the choices that I overlooked the other choices for draft.
I’ll revise the site search coding. I always try to test before publishing but sure goofed that one.
